I am so grateful that I married into a Bruin family! Greg’s dad went to UCLA for undergrad and grad school and thus raised  his family to be Bruin fans. We completely ignore the fact that Greg’s mom went to USC and although Greg was an anteater (thankfully! since he met my sister there who introduced us) he is a true Bruin at heart. Yesterday Grandpa gave us his UCLA basketball tickets and we ventured up to Westwood for the game. I absolutely love being on campus and am looking forward to going back next Saturday for a swim meet as well.  The game was a fun victory and the seats provided a great view of the band, cheer & dance teams as well as Joe and Joesephine Bruin. The goal was to get a picture with the Bruins and although Pfeiffer got tired and her and Greg had to leave a bit early Charlotte did get to meet Joe and get a picture. Next time we’ll hunt down Joesphine! We completed the the adventure with a visit to Greg’s sister Katie who is at UCLA now, the girls wildly romped around the sorority house and Charlotte can’t wait for college because of the cool bunk beds.
